Children

Hope Kids

Every Sunday starting at 10:30am. For children from six weeks old through 5th grade.

Hope Kids is devoted to teaching God’s Word and helping children grow in their relationship with Jesus in a fun, positive, and safe environment. We provide children’s and students’ programming every Sunday during our church service. Please check-in between 10:15am-10:30am at the Hope Kids check-in station in the hallway behind the sanctuary. There will be signs and volunteers at our entrances to direct you. Parents or designated adults can pick up nursery through 1st grade students at the check-in location, while 2nd through 5th grade students are picked up at the gym.

If you are a first-time guest, please register your children at our check-in station. Our volunteers will be able to answer questions and direct your children to their classrooms. Additionally, you can pre-register your children by emailing Hannah Birchfield.

Youths

Hope Students

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sunday at 10:30am. For 6th through 12th grade students.

Hope Students is a program for young members of our church to know and grow with Jesus through teachings and activities that are age-appropriate for them. Please check in between 10:15am and 10:30am at the Hope Kids check-in station in the hallway behind the sanctuary. There will be signs and volunteers at our entrances to direct you. Students will sit with parents or their Hope Students leader on the 4th and 5th Sunday.

Adults

Adult Sunday School

Every Sunday at 9:20am. For all adults.

Each week, we study the Bible to deepen our understanding of God’s Word and grow in the knowledge of His grace. Class is open to everyone, but current participants are mostly in their 50s and 60s. The group meets in the conference room in the Social Hall Building.

Prayer Team

Every Wednesday at 4:30pm. We meet in the prayer room located inside the Sanctuary Building.

We spend time together in corporate prayer for our members, church, community, and the world at large.

Families

Family Dinner

Every Wednesday at 6:00pm inside the Social Hall. For everyone.

Join us as we break bread as a church family every Wednesday. This tradition has been in place for over three decades. In addition to enjoying a meal together, people break into groups to fellowship with one another. Invitations are sent to every church member each week. Cost is $8 per person and $20 per family of 3 or more (+$5 per person for take-out). Reservation is required.

Hope Gatherings

Hope Gatherings are regularly recurring group activities that are available for all to participate in. Recurring activities include Oyster Roast in February, Easter Egg Hunt, Thanksgiving decoration, and Christmas decoration.

We are currently in the planning stages for men’s group, women’s group, and couples’ group. If you are interested in leading one of these groups, please email Anni Smith.

Community Outreach

Prayer Parade

Every Tuesday at 9:00am. Team gathers in the church office foyer, plans, and leaves for prayer location(s).

Isle of Hope Baptist Church is dedicated to life-changing prayer, and we support people with their prayer needs. If you or someone you know lives on Isle of Hope and wishes for our team to pray over the person's home, please click here to fill out the prayer request form. The Prayer Team is available for urgent prayer needs as well. The team gathers in the church office foyer before leaving for prayer locations.


Food Pantry

Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:00pm. At Isle of Hope Baptist Church.
Monday-Thursday 9:00am-3:00pm. At Savannah Baptist Center.

Our food pantry program, in partnership with the Savannah Baptist Center, supports the needs of our community. The Savannah Baptist Center exists to bring glory to God by bringing churches, groups and individuals together to serve and meet the needs of our community. P.A.C.K.

P.A.C.K. is a Savannah-based nonprofit organization committed to meeting the basic needs of children in our community. P.A.C.K. distributes over 18,000 bags of weekend food to local children each month through 40 partner schools and community programs. Sleep in Heavenly Peace

Sleep in Heavenly Peace provides beds and bedding for children and families in need across the United States. Our local chapter consists of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling, and delivering top-notch beds to children and families in need. Thrive Express Savannah

Thrive Express Savannah is a Care-Net affiliated pregnancy resource center offering women's healthcare such as pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and STD testing. WinShape Camps Savannah

Each summer, Isle of Hope Baptist Church sponsors and hosts WinShape Camps Savannah on our property. WinShape Camps brings the ultimate day camp that combines fun and friendship into an action-packed week—all centered around Jesus. Campers completing grades K-5th cultivate their God-given skills and talents in a mix of indoor and outdoor moments, physical activity and creative play, with epic adventures at camp all day and sleeping soundly back at home at night. At the end of the week, we serve up a day of fun for the whole family—complete with a yummy lunch from Chick-fil-A. Please click the logo to learn more about the program.
